ON-LINE BOOK DISCUSSION CLUB
Unlike local book discussion groups, this one gives you a chance to see what people from another culture think about the books you read. Its a great way to be part of a book discussion without worrying about meeting times that may not fit your busy schedule.
Once you have registered, well send you the name of a book selection each month. Among them will be books by Illinois and Australian authors from the two host libraries local areas. When youve read each book, e-mail your thoughts to other Club members, and read their comments in your e-mail box at your leisure.

DON'T HAVE A COMPUTER?
Stop by your local library, and well help you get started. Membership is free, and youll never have to worry about receiving unwanted e-mails from commercial companies or related organizations. We never sell or distribute our lists. Any information you want to share with other club members in your e-mail messages is up to you.
WHO CAN JOIN?
Anyone who likes the adventure of reading and discussing what you think about books can join. The books will be appropriate for older teens and adults of all ages.

Here's some information about the Libraries
Funding for e-readers was provided through a Libraries in the 21st Century grant from the Illinois State Library, a Division of the Office of Secretary of State, using federal Library Service to America (LSTA) funding.
